A small and charming daycare center with newly renovated premises
The daycare centre kids & co Gümligen is located at Turbenweg 11, somewhat hidden away but with good public transport connections between the train station and shopping facilities. The daycare centre is ideally located for families from Gümligen, Muri bei Bern, Ostermundigen, Worb and the city of Bern.
We offer professional and familial care in small groups for children from 3 months to kindergarden age. We create a familial environment in which children feel comfortable and can develop individually. Our forest days in summer, where children actively experience and explore nature, are particularly popular.
The daycare centre has bright, friendly rooms and its own garden, which offers space for exercise, play and creativity. Our qualified carers look after the children with a lot of love and constantly updated specialist knowledge. Our structured daily routine provides support and guidance.
The daycare centre is also ideal for working parents: thanks to its proximity to Bern and flexible care models, it is a reliable solution for balancing family and career in the greater Bern area.
«We are very satisfied with the daycare. I am especially impressed by the consistently positive and friendly interaction with the children and among the staff. The caregivers lead by example and model the values the children are meant to learn.»
Lia Heimann Fahrni
«JI couldn’t imagine a better daycare. My daughter attended before, and now my son does as well. The care is organized in a very professional and loving way: the children are placed at the center and can develop in the best possible way.»

What do I do if my child is sick?
However, as long as the child can participate in the program at the daycare center, they are very welcome.
Sick children are most comfortable at home, where they can recover and get well in peace. At the same time, this helps protect the health of the other children and our team.

-
How does the settling-in process work?
We follow the Berlin model for settling in. At first, the child attends the daycare together with a familiar caregiver, allowing them to get to know the new environment and staff at their own pace. Gradually, the attendance time is extended, and the caregiver slowly steps back until the child has built a secure relationship with the daycare staff and feels comfortable in the daily routine.
