The kids & co Wankdorf daycare center on Stauffacherstrasse offers the perfect balance between a central urban location and proximity to nature. Just a few minutes’ walk from the Wankdorf train station, it is the ideal childcare solution for families in the Wankdorf, Breitenrain, Lorraine, and Wyler neighborhoods.
Here's how your child and your family's daily life will benefit:
Loving & Caring Care: In small groups, we provide individualized care for children from 3 months of age until they start school, creating an environment where they feel safe and secure.
Outdoors every day: We place a high priority on physical activity. Whether in our own nature-filled garden (with a slide, play boat, and sandbox), on regular forest days in the nearby Wylerholz, or on exploration trips around town.
Excellent, fresh cuisine: Our in-house chef prepares seasonal, child-friendly meals every day. Our kitchen is certified with the “Fourchette verte” quality label for balanced nutrition.
Maximum flexibility for parents: Thanks to excellent access to the Wankdorf train station, bus and tram lines, and the Wankdorf highway interchange, dropping off and picking up your child can be seamlessly integrated into your daily work routine.

«Our son has been attending the daycare for two years and we are very satisfied. We particularly appreciate the detailed briefing about his day at pick-up, as well as the fact that the children spend time outdoors in the fresh air every day. The varied programme, including forest days in summer and gym activities in winter, is another highlight. The staff are great – empathetic, well-trained, and truly dedicated.
