The Brügg Daycare Centre is operated by profawo, a nationwide Swiss non-profit organisation that provides work-life balance services and consultancy on behalf of its member companies. Founded in Zurich in 1996, it is now an association active throughout Switzerland with nearly 500 employees. profawo's wide range of childcare and eldercare services supports over 250,000 employees at its member companies, helping them to balance work and family life.

profawo was founded 30 years ago by members of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. Today, profawo is a well-established and financially sound organisation. Its close ties to the world of work are reflected in the “& Co.” in its name, where “Co.” stands for “company”. This close relationship with employers continues to define Profawo and foster the development of innovative services.

Parent Collaboration

Close collaboration is important to us. We see each other every day. We use an app to help us coordinate, so that organizational tasks can be handled even when the children are asleep after a long day.

Children in Our Care

We care for children in mixed-age groups of 12 and have a separate baby group.
We warmly welcome children from 3 months of age until they start school.

Hours of Operation

Open year-round, with a short break for Christmas and New Year’s.

Monday–Friday: 6:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
The following closure dates are scheduled for this year.
