A modern, bright daycare center where children can thrive
The Kids & Co Renens daycare center is ideally located at the crossroads of Renens, Prilly, and Lausanne. Opened in 2024, it is just a stone’s throw from bus stops and the future tram line, offering easy and convenient access for families.
Located on the ground floor of a modern building, the premises are spacious, bright, and airy. They open directly onto private outdoor areas, designed to allow children to move around, play, and enjoy the fresh air in complete safety. This carefully curated environment fully embodies the Kids & Co. concept: a warm, structured, and stimulating space designed to foster experimentation, participation, and social connections.
Nature and diversity are at the heart of our educational program. Every day, children explore, discover, and thrive through games, workshops, and activities that encourage movement, independence, imagination, and self-confidence.
Currently in the process of obtaining Youp’là Bouge certification, our daycare places special emphasis on physical activity and motor development, promoting the well-being and growth of children from a very young age. Because the connection with families is essential, we foster a warm and attentive environment, with plenty of opportunities for interaction and friendly events throughout the year, such as winter and summer parties.
«Une équipe formidable, toujours souriante et bienveillante avec les enfants. Mon fils s’épanouit chaque jour à la garderie, il y découvre de nouvelles activités et revient à la maison heureux. C’est vraiment comme une deuxième famille pour lui !»

-
How does the adjustment period work?
We follow the Berlin model, which means that at first, the child attends the daycare center accompanied by a familiar caregiver. This allows the child to explore their new environment and get to know the teachers at their own pace. In the second phase, the duration of the adjustment period is gradually extended, and the caregiver gradually steps back until the child has established a trusting relationship with the educators and feels comfortable with the daily routine at the daycare. This process generally takes about two weeks.
-
How does communication between the daycare center and the parents work?
At our center, we strive to make communication with parents personal, transparent, and straightforward. We encourage daily interactions with the teaching staff so you can share in the experiences your child is having. In addition, you’ll receive our monthly newsletter, which provides an overview of life at the daycare, the topics we’re covering, and upcoming activities. This way, you’re always well-informed.
