A magical setting for growing up happy
Located in Fenil-sur-Corsier, above Vevey, the Kids & Co daycare center welcomes 22 children in a fully renovated manor house that blends modern comfort with old-world charm.
In this sheltered setting, surrounded by nature and close to goats, children feel right at home and thrive in a calm and safe environment, with a spectacular view of Lake Geneva.
The atmosphere is warm and family-oriented. The large, bright rooms—one with a mezzanine and another equipped with climbing frames—offer plenty of opportunities to move, play, and explore as part of the Youp’là Bouge program.
Outside, the private garden features a slide, a sandbox, and hiding spots among the trees, stimulating the children’s curiosity and imagination.
Meals are balanced and carefully prepared, with special attention paid to the quality and seasonality of the ingredients.
The daycare center also benefits from its convenient proximity to the Merck company, making life easier for employees.

How does the adjustment period work?
We follow the Berlin model, which means that at first, the child attends the daycare center accompanied by a familiar caregiver. This allows the child to explore their new environment and get to know the teachers at their own pace. In the second phase, the duration of the adjustment period is gradually extended, and the caregiver gradually steps back until the child has established a trusting relationship with the educators and feels comfortable with the daily routine at the daycare. This process generally takes about two weeks.
-
How does communication between the daycare and parents work?
At our center, communication with parents is meant to be personal, transparent, and straightforward. We prioritize daily exchanges with the teaching staff to share the experiences your child is having. In addition, you’ll receive our monthly newsletter, which provides an overview of life at the daycare, the topics we’re covering, and upcoming activities. This way, you’re always well-informed.
