The daycare centre Kita Thun, with its over 100-year history, is located a few steps from Thun train station in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Our two buildings, the villa and the modern cube, offer spacious rooms and are surrounded by an idyllic garden that invites children to play and discover.
In 5 groups, 50 to 60 children of all ages are cared for every day. Each group has its own group rooms. Cross-group meeting places are the common functional rooms such as the outdoor area, two movement rooms, the studio and the role play room. Meals are prepared fresh daily in our kitchen.
We see the children as independent explorers of their living environment. While exploring their environment, the children gain experience of what they can do and how they can integrate into a group.
Good cooperation with the parents is crucial and we actively maintain a trusting dialogue. Your child is in good hands with us and its development is encouraged.
