Your daycare centre in Müntschemier – loving care in the heart of the Bernese Seeland
Nestled between Ins and Kerzers, the kids & co Müntschemier daycare center enjoys an idyllic location in the heart of the Seeland Great Marsh – ideal for families from Müntschemier, Ins, Gampelen, Kerzers, Treiten, Kallnach, Erlach and other surrounding communities. Thanks to its proximity to the train station and the parking spaces directly in front of the daycare centre, our daycare centre is a modern, easily accessible childcare solution for children aged 3 months and older.
In our spacious, newly designed daycare centre, we look after children in two mixed-age groups with a maximum of 12 children. We provide care with a combination of passion, commitment and educational expertise. A large garden, natural play facilities and bright rooms offer your child space to discover, move and learn – both indoors and outdoors. During the summer months, we organise weekly full-day trips to the forest. Here, the children enjoy exciting activities such as cooking over a fire, sleeping under the trees and discovering the many wonders of nature. These experiences make children's hearts beat faster.
Our in-house cook prepares fresh meals on site every day, sourcing regional products from the village shops, which are just a few minutes' walk away.
Whether parents live in Seeland or work in the region, the kids & co Müntschemier daycare centre is an attractive solution for balancing family and career. Thanks to its good connections to public transport (Müntschemier railway station) and parking spaces, the location is also ideal for working people from the surrounding area.

What do I do if my child is sick?
However, as long as the child can participate in the program at the daycare center, they are very welcome.
Sick children are most comfortable at home, where they can recover and get well in peace. At the same time, this helps protect the health of the other children and our team.
Is your child sick and you have to work? profawo has emergency nannies who can come to your sick child's home and care for them.

-
How does the settling-in process work?
We use the Berlin model for settling-in, meaning that initially the child visits the daycare center accompanied by a familiar caregiver. This allows the child to become familiar with the new environment and the caregivers in a relaxed setting. In the next step, the settling-in period is gradually extended, and the caregiver slowly withdraws until the child has developed a secure relationship with the caregivers and feels comfortable in the daily routine of the daycare center.
-
What does a typical day look like?
Our daily routine is clearly structured and carefully planned. Fixed rituals such as the shared greeting ritual, meals, and midday rest provide the children with orientation and security.
