All our daycare centres are open for you and your children for at least 11 hours a day.

We monitor each child’s development individually, document this in portfolios, and use this information to tailor our activities and support their development. Our daycare centres in Zurich are members of the ‘Netzwerk Bildungsort Kita’ network run by the Marie Meierhofer Institute for the Child.

During our nature and forest days, we regularly explore, observe and investigate the area around the daycare centre in the neighbourhood as well as the forest. We place great emphasis on the children’s urge to move, their natural curiosity and the interactions they have as we explore together. Our exploration trips also encourage valuable social learning, as well as a mindful approach to and respect for nature.

The Thurgau University of Teacher Education and the ZHAW regularly monitor and assess the quality of our childcare centres. In addition to creating a stimulating daily routine and environment with dedicated learning spaces, we focus on the interaction between carers and children. Our caring support and professional guidance in children’s development are what set us apart.

Our staff regularly undertake further training, both individually and as a team. We place great importance on ensuring development at all levels and provide both internal and external training, as well as process support for nursery teams. To this end, we work closely with partners such as the University of Teacher Education Thurgau, the MMI, the kibesuisse association and the Lernwerkstatt Olten.
